Northwestern APALSA

Asian Pacific American Law Students Association

About Us

Welcome to the official website of Northwestern Law School’s Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA). APALSA’s mission is to cultivate a supportive community for Asian Pacific American students at Northwestern Law, increase awareness of the political, cultural, and social roles of Asian Pacific Americans (APAs), and serve the greater Chicago community through civic engagement and volunteerism.

To achieve this mission, APALSA hosts year-round programming to help members adjust and acclimate to the Northwestern Law environment and experience the legal profession at-large. We invite you to take a closer look at how APALSA:

  • Builds and deepens knowledge about relevant issues through speaker panels, debates, and other events featuring legal professionals, academics, and other practitioners;
  • Cultivates a sense of community through social and networking events;
  • Develops the professional and leadership skills of APA students; and
  • Serves the broader community through volunteering and advocacy.

In the upcoming year, we look forward to continuing our tradition of providing our members with opportunities for personal and professional growth. To join APALSA and receive information on events and opportunities, please find us at the student organization fair. Finally, we look forward to working with our generous sponsors, who help make APALSA one of the most active and prominent student groups at Northwestern Law.

We look forward to another exciting year!

Sincerely,

2022-2023 APALSA Executive Board
